He is knowledgeable, versatile, studied under Zhu, dabbled in hundreds of classics, history, astronomy and geography, was familiar with systematic anecdotes and was good at textual research. After the demise of the Southern Song Dynasty, he lived in seclusion in the countryside, closed his doors and thanked guests, and wrote books. Handwritten calligraphy includes "writing books" and so on. He has written Saint Amethyst, Moon Hee who is sleepy in school, Zhu Zhu in Primary School, Yu Hai, Answering as a Mirror, Shen Ningji, Textual Research on Poetic Geography, etc.
