Preface to writing techniques of regular script

I have a fate with regular script. I remember when I was in the lower grades of primary school, my teacher often posted my exercises on the red list in the classroom for demonstration and praise, and calligraphy gradually became my first hobby. I have benefited a lot from calligraphy these years. With more than 50 years of calligraphy, I have two deepest experiences: the first is that I don't think I can learn it well in three or two years, and it will take at least ten years to make small achievements in calligraphy. Although there are tricks and shortcuts in this, because it is profound, it takes perseverance and the spirit of dripping water through the stone to succeed; Second, I believe that everyone has great potential in writing, and many people can achieve excellent results beyond imagination. My achievements today were unexpected. The book "Regular Script Writing" has been brewing for more than ten years. The first draft of it originated from the calligraphy handouts that I have used for many years and have been enriching. I longed for it to be a book before, but at the same time I felt it was not innovative enough. Later, I gradually realized that the level of "artistic content" is the fundamental problem of calligraphy. Therefore, after further practice and exploration, a set of "eighteen tips of writing skills" is gradually refined to guide the creation, so that the artistic effect of the works is rising day by day. After reaching a new height, I finally decided to write it and share it with my fans. This book has the following characteristics: first, it is practical. It is not only a portrayal of my teaching life, but also a guide to my creation. The second is innovation. Take my model essay as an example. It originated in Ou Kai and is compatible with hundreds of schools. Wei Bei's style was also successfully cast into it, thus forming a unique Kung Fu word. Take "Excellent Reading" at the end of this book as an example. Not only are all articles masterpieces, but also the personal writing strength of "European writing and regular script writing" is demonstrated. Third, there are moderate exceptions, such as the order of strokes mentioned in the book, which can be changed at individual times in order to help write the words well; For example, while talking about recognizing the position, we also warned everyone not to be bound by the frame; For example, in order to achieve the best results, sometimes you can use the method of secret connection, instead of following the old rules one by one. Fourthly, it emphasizes the comprehensive application of various artistic elements, including the lifting of brush strokes, the dryness and wetness of pen and ink, the humility of brush strokes, the freehand brushwork of characters, and the display of personality, so as to guide everyone to use them flexibly and promote the improvement of writing skills.
