What did calligraphy bring me?

I have decided to study calligraphy for some time. Since I started studying, I have taken time to write something on the post every day. Because I signed up for an adult calligraphy training class, I took calligraphy classes twice a week, with each class lasting two hours. I am usually busy at work, so I usually go to class on weekends and practice by myself at other times. From the first day of practicing calligraphy, from writing draft paper to my own works, no matter whether they are well written or not, I put them together according to the differences of copybooks and fonts. The attached drawings are as follows:

Although I still can't write well, I can see obvious progress by reading the draft paper I practiced before. The words, lines, brushwork and structure I wrote at the beginning and now have been greatly improved, which is still worth encouraging. I found some pictures and compared them.

Attached to it are some exercise papers from the very beginning to the present, and there are already hundreds of "achievements" of usual exercises at home. Calligraphy makes me more focused and calms my impetuous heart. I like listening to the rain and writing on rainy nights, and I have a feeling of reflecting my heart with the ancients. It is quiet, healing and beautiful. I hope I can keep going. In addition, the preface of Lanting is attached, which started recently (a little difficult but needs refueling)
