Introduction of Xianyun characters

Xianyun was born in a scholarly family and was trained by the imperial court since childhood. He loved literature and art since he was a child. In the early 1980s, I studied calligraphy with Mr. Li Zheng and Mr. He Daqi, and I have been studying hard. From 65438 to 0988, he won the first prize of Beijing Youth Calligraphy Exhibition and has been engaged in calligraphy teaching since he became an adult. In 2006, he joined the Beijing Calligraphers Association and was hired as a calligraphy teacher by many universities. Over the years, Xian Yun has devoted a lot of efforts to calligraphy creation and calligraphy teaching, and both have made remarkable achievements.

Mr. Xianyun's calligraphy is good in all aspects. His seal script is far from (Li Si and Li) and close to France, Deng, Zhao and Wu Changshuo. His structure is rigorous and novel, and his brushwork is old and frank. Lishu won the essence of the Han tablet, and Deng He was trained hard, with a stretched brushwork and full of ancient charm. The inscriptions on the patriarchal clan system, such as Longmen Twenty and Zhang Menglong, have won Zhao's interest, revealing a natural and elegant wind between the gods and the heroes, giving people a leisurely aesthetic feeling.

The main characteristics of Xian Yun's running script are: it combines the strengths of Soviet Union, Yellow River, Rice, and Sichuan, and each has its own characteristics. His words are tight and handsome, and the pen heart and flank are combined into one, which is both strong and light and elegant, showing a simple, natural, calm and extraordinary aesthetic interest in his unrestrained writing.

Mr. Xianyun attaches great importance to tradition and emphasizes that learning calligraphy must pay attention to statutes and exquisiteness. So he has been studying law for more than 20 years. His calligraphy is an ingenious creation on the basis of inheritance, which is essentially different from those so-called innovations that are divorced from the calligraphy tradition.
