Hu Gongshi's post-affirmation study.

In the late 1970s, the "Cultural Revolution" was over. In the days when everything is thriving, the China Calligraphers Association began to be established. 1982, the first national calligraphy exhibition was held in Beijing since the founding of New China. With his achievements, fame and knowledge in calligraphy, Mr. Hu was selected as a member of the leading group of five finalists representing Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia, Qinghai and New Northwest China. To this end, he was one of the earliest founders of China Book Association.

Several times, I saw Hu Lao teach his 10-year-old grandson to write standard cursive script, and I couldn't help asking, "Can you write cursive script instead of regular script?" Hu Lao said: "If you can't write regular script well, you can write cursive script directly. In history, cursive script appeared before regular script. " Ceng Laide, an old disciple of Hu who later wrote cursive script directly, has now become a rookie in China.

65438-0982, Teacher Hu Gongshi taught standard cursive script in Ningxia. This lecture is divided into two places, the old city is located in Yinchuan No.1 Middle School, and the new city is located in the library of the autonomous region. At that time, everyone only paid a registration fee of 2 yuan. Now it seems that holding a lecture is purely a righteous act of Hu Lao to promote standard cursive calligraphy.

I took part in this research. Every Sunday afternoon, Mr. Hu Gongshi attends classes in person. According to his own standard cursive vocabulary style, he carefully wrote on the blackboard with chalk in his hand that the lecture lasted for five months (including intermission) regardless of the hot summer and rain.

Fortunately, one exam, I handed in my paper early, and I asked Hu Lao to correct the "thousand-character script" for myself (I had not seen the "standard cursive thousand-character script" at that time). Hu Lao was also interested at that time, and carefully corrected it with a ballpoint pen from beginning to end. Almost half of the words were rewritten by him, and the whole class gathered around to look at them. This book is now my precious collection.
