Original text:
The child is determined to leave his hometown, and he vows not to return it if he fails to succeed in his studies.
There is no need for a mulberry land to bury the bones, there are green hills everywhere in life.
From Mao Zedong's "Qi Jue: Revised Poems for Father".
Translation:
The child made great ambitions to say farewell to his relatives and travel far away from his hometown. He traveled and studied in various places and practiced hard. If he could not achieve fame, he vowed not to go home.
If a person dies and buries his body, he doesn’t necessarily need the land of his hometown. Where in the world is there no green hill for me to rest in?
