In order to coordinate the forest of steles with the overall architectural style of the memorial hall, Mr. Huang from China Architectural Design Institute, the original designer of Li Dazhao Memorial Hall, initially decided to design the forest of steles, and then Dr. Chu from Beijing Haiao Landscape Design Engineering Co., Ltd. participated in the design. The overall architectural form of the forest of steles embodies the characteristics of combining folk traditions and modern architectural styles with the main building of the memorial hall, realizing the harmony between man and nature and playing an entertaining role. According to the existing garden landscape of Li Dazhao Memorial Hall, the forest of steles is located by the lake, which mainly adopts the expression mode of combining modern architecture with traditional symbols (monuments). Monument building, monument pavilion, monument gallery and green spots are combined together in an orderly way to become an independent group, forming another exhibition area and scenic spot of Li Dazhao Memorial Hall. Generally speaking, there are more than 60 pieces in four categories, mainly including inscriptions by party and state leaders, some handwritten works by Comrade Li Dazhao, calligraphy works by famous domestic artists to commemorate and praise Comrade Li Dazhao, and some copied copies of Li Dazhao's inscriptions left over from history.
The memorial forest of Li Dazhao shows the noble integrity, great achievements of revolutionary martyrs and the memory and admiration of future generations in a unique form, which will be passed down from generation to generation. Li Dazhao's forest of steles is not only an exhibition hall of Mr. Li Dazhao's achievements, but also a patriotic education base, a research center of Mr. Li Dazhao and a unique red tourist area. It was also named as one of the national demonstration bases of patriotism education by the Propaganda Department of the CPC. It was founded in the seventh year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (188 1) and was supervised by Li Dazhao's great-grandfather Li Ruzhen. The former residence faces south and is rectangular. High-rise terrace with black door is a house with three entrances. It is a typical rural family pattern in eastern Hebei, with a length of 55.5 meters from north to south, a width of 18.2 meters from east to west, and an area of1kloc-0/0.1square meter. Between the gate and the second gate is the front yard. There are three east wing rooms, which were once the school of uncle Li Renyuan of Li Dazhao. The second door is the Intermediate People's Court. 1889, 10 year129 October, Comrade Li Dazhao was born in the north room of the east wing of our hospital. To the north of the Intermediate People's Court are six connected main rooms. Three rooms in the east are the houses where Comrade Li Dazhao lived for a long time. The back door of the main house is the back house, and the east courtyard of the back house has two east wings and two open sheds. The wing is the house where Li Dazhao used to put food. When I was a child, in order to be quiet, Dazhao often read, wrote and wrote articles in this house. So it is also called Li Dazhao's childhood study. That shed was used to put farm tools and prepare sundries at home. The west half courtyard of the former residence memorial hall, from south to north, used to be the property of Li Dazhao's third grandfather Li, but now it has also been restored and displayed, and the exhibition "Li Dazhao's Personality Style" is on display.
Li Dazhao's former residence is the place where Comrade Li Dazhao was born and raised in childhood. Here, Li Dazhao received strict family education, which had a great influence on the formation of his later ideological character.
Now more and more people come to Li Dazhao's former residence to visit and study, reaching more than 20 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across the country. Li Dazhao's former residence has become an important base and tourist attraction for revolutionary traditional education, patriotism education, party history education and spiritual civilization construction.
