Jia Pingwa,1February 2, 9521was born in Dihua Village, Danfeng County, southern Shaanxi. His father is a rural teacher and his mother is a farmer. His works were selected for the first national official book exhibition, the first outstanding works exhibition of members of China Calligraphy Association, the first national large-character calligraphy exhibition and the first national self-written couplet calligraphy exhibition, and won more than 50 awards.
