Have you ever been or are you in a quagmire of change? Which road should we choose to break through the limitation of "0" and enter the broad road of growth?
Maybe you and I have the same dilemma. When you have a grand and clear goal, your actions are not bold or firm. I feel guilty every time I meet a little obstacle. Am I not suitable for development in this industry? This goal may be too ambitious for me to achieve. I always make mistakes. Maybe I am really a useless person. At this stage, it is a gift from heaven. But even so, there is still an impulse to change. You are always wandering backwards in the struggle for change, hard action, lack of self-confidence and hesitation, and finally let time fly and get nothing.
In his book From Action, Ishida Chun, a pioneer writer of Japanese behavior management, tells us with a large number of real cases that change is a systematic project, and it is difficult to accomplish anything by relying solely on willpower. We should be fully armed from cognition to behavior, and the key breakthrough lies in action. As the author said, it is better to spend three hours a day thinking than five minutes a day doing it. Only the word action can't change anyone.
So, what kind of actions can change a person? The author believes that we should start from three levels:
The first is to avoid cognitive bias and get out of the misunderstanding of action. Don't deny yourself easily, don't amplify negative emotions, find the root of the problem and face the difficulties directly.
The second is to have specific goals, simplify specific action plans, throw away what should be done, find what you want to do, subdivide tasks and relieve stress.
The third is to pay attention to methods and change yourself from trivial actions. Combine rewards and punishments, use tools flexibly, and concentrate 80% of your energy on important things.

After reading it carefully, I feel benefited a lot. Take this book apart and use it for yourself. I think only by doing these five things well can we change ourselves.
1
? The first thing: find the power supply.
Many people say they want to change, but when they ask what kind of person they want to be, they have no clue; Why do you want to change, and there is no good reason. Change is sometimes just an idea. If you don't get to the bottom of it and find the deep-seated reasons, you may be interested today and forget your original heart tomorrow.
Because change is a systematic project, a marathon, not a 100-meter race. So, before you start the marathon journey, please prepare the rations, and the power source is your spiritual rations.
There is a description of the source of motivation in the classic financial masterpiece Qian Qian the Dog, which is to find out the top ten reasons why you become rich and choose the three most urgent reasons as the reasons for your recent change. Then through the record of success diary and the description of success blueprint, I constantly strengthen my power source. Maybe this method can give you some reference.
2
? The second thing: visualization.
The power source is actually the direction and goal.
With the direction and goal, we have to find the root of the problem and the breakthrough of action. How can a road blind person who doesn't even know where he is standing reach his destination as he wishes? Therefore, before you act, you need to imagine your problem.
In fact, when you start to analyze yourself, you are already on the road to action. If you want to solve the problem, you have to analyze it first. Some people tried to quit smoking for a week, but then they were tempted to smoke one at an old friend's party, and then they couldn't extricate themselves and completely forgot to quit smoking. The root of this problem lies not in his lack of determination, but in his failure to create a good atmosphere for quitting smoking.
three
? The third thing: the desire to give up.
I want everything now, but I can't get anything This paper analyzes the reasons why I got nothing. Actually, it's because I have too much to do and too little to do. In the struggle and hesitation, I wasted time. Dog Qian Qian also said that in the short term, if you want to change, you must find the three things you want to do most, or one thing. Don't be greedy.
I don't know if you have such an experience. You want to learn ppt and become a ppt master. After learning a bunch of shortcut keys and basic typesetting methods, you find that you need to know not only typesetting, but also good thinking logic, aesthetics and induction. Every skill needs a huge basic ability to support it. But when you see that you need to learn so much knowledge, do you have the desire to give up? Because it is difficult to be quick, my confidence in myself is greatly reduced.
The essence of desire is to make choices. For a while, just do what you want to do. If you want to learn to write, you should only focus on the skills you need in writing. Others, such as photography and calligraphy, should be put aside for the time being. After all, people's energy is limited. This is also the key point of Pareto's law, doing 20% of things with 80% of energy.
four
? The fourth thing: subdivide the action plan.
After the motivation, goals and plans are clear, you can start to act. But at the same time of action, we must divide the plan and goal into different stages. For example, I want to be a financial columnist. This goal is ambitious, but it lacks operational quantitative indicators. If you want to keep your actions efficient, you have to use the power of tools to set yourself a kpi quantitative index, reward yourself if you meet the standard, and punish yourself if you fail.
My approach is to set quantitative indicators, 20 books a month, including 2 book reviews, and strive to explode 1 article a year (employed by the media), and successfully write about 30 book reviews a year. The first year is not limited to the types of book reviews, and the second year strives to develop in the direction of economic management. It is said that 10000 hours is an expert's success rule. I installed the ihour app to record the tempering time of my writing skills.
At the beginning, it is advisable to write 1 book review every month. When the reading speed and writing level come up, my speed will be changed to 2 book reviews per month. For example, this book review, the framework has been thought for a long time, but it has not been written. Because there is a deadline and the plan is not strict, I can guarantee to finish the task before the deadline.
five
? The fifth thing: get out of cognitive bias.
There are actions, but they may not be able to persist. For example, my company has been planting grass for almost two months. Think about it carefully, the root cause lies in your lack of energy and confidence in yourself. Others can grow up in a short time, but I can't. Is my ability too poor, or has the dividend period passed in the official WeChat account?
Negative comments about yourself grow in your mind like mold. The movement is also much slower. Very few people really insist on doing things by willpower.
If you want to persist, you need scientific methods. In addition to a clear reward and punishment system, we should constantly look for clues that we can do from reality and cheer for ourselves. If others can run the official WeChat account well, so can I, but I need to arrange the pace and content of the update according to my own situation.
