At that time, Emperor Yao heard that Shun was filial, so he sent nine waiters to serve Zhuo and his wife, and married his daughters E Huang and Nv Ying to Shun in recognition of his filial piety. Later, Yao also gave way to Shun. People praised Shun for changing from a commoner to an emperor because of his filial piety.

In Yongjia County, Ruian District, Zhejiang Province in the Song Dynasty, there was a man named Chen Mingkan, who was very filial and famous all over the world. He serves his parents, is docile and filial, and never lets them worry. Occasionally, when parents are sick, they will lie in bed day and night dressed and cook soup and take medicine by themselves. After the death of his parents, Chen Kan was heartbroken and truly fulfilled the sage's warning of "Do your best and think about it when you die". His filial piety is regarded as an example by the whole family. Therefore, future generations should follow suit, respect the old and love the young, unite brothers and couples, and love each other. Since then, five generations of Chen family have lived under the same roof. Huang Shufang in Song Dynasty gave a plaque, which read "Chen Jun, a dutiful son", and the people called it "Chen Xiaomen".

"Hearing this, the king suddenly realized. He sighed with tears: "Good words have benefited me a lot!" "So I repented and was gentle and obedient to my grandmother. Liu did the same to Wang.

I hurried home for nursing, and went to a place 30 miles away to see a doctor and take medicine every day, rain or shine, until my stepmother recovered. At the same time, Lin Ying is particularly friendly to the children born to his stepmother. Finally, what the stepmother regrets is that the mother-child relationship has improved, better than herself.

There was a famous dutiful son named Dong Mingyong in the Han Dynasty. His family is poor. After his father died, Yong Dong had no money for the funeral, so he had to borrow money from the landlord to bury his father. After the funeral, Yong Dong went to the landlord's house to work and pay back the money, and met a beautiful woman on the way. Stop Yong Dong from proposing to Yong Dong. Yong Dong remembered that he was penniless and owed money to the landlord, so he refused. The woman stopped and said that she didn't love money. She loves him only because of his good character. Yong Dong was helpless and had to take her to the landlord's house to help. That woman is clever and weaves like a fly. She worked day and night, and it took only one month to weave 300 feet of fine silk and pay off the debts of the landlord. On the way home, when they came to a locust tree, the woman said goodbye to Yong Dong. According to legend, this woman is the seven fairies in the sky. Because Yong Dong was kind-hearted, the seven fairies were moved by his filial piety and came down to help him.

Thirteen, cage negative mother return

Bao Chu, the word study room, Xinfeng people at the end of Han Dynasty. He was born tall and filial. One day, when he was not at home, a group of robbers took his mother away. Bao was furious and rushed to Chu Jun. He grabbed a knife and ran after it. Killed more than a dozen thieves along the way, finally caught up with the robber who robbed his mother and saw her tied up with the neighbor woman in the distance. With a loud roar, he pushed forward. The thieves saw that he was fierce and unstoppable, and they were scared to flee. Baochu forgot to chase the enemy and ran straight ahead, kowtowing and confessing. Kneeling to untie my mother and old neighbors and liberate them to go home. Later, when the war broke out, he served his mother and took refuge in Nanyang. When the thief is pacified, the mother misses her hometown. However, the sedan chair is difficult to walk on the road. Bao thought for a long time, made a bamboo cage, let his mother sit in it and took her home.

14. Abandoning officials and serving relatives

Pan Yue, a native of Zhongmou, Xingyang, whose name was Anren, was then the magistrate of Heyang County. He is very filial. After his father died, he took his mother to work anywhere. He likes planting flowers and trees. Over time, all the peaches and plums he planted have become forests. Every year when the flowers bloom, he always chooses a sunny day to help his mother enjoy the flowers in the forest. One year, my mother was ill and wanted to go home. When Pan Yue learned of his mother's wish, he immediately resigned and went back to his hometown to commemorate his mother. Shangguan repeatedly retained. He said, "What kind of son am I if I am greedy for money and don't listen to my mother?" Shangguan was moved by his filial piety and allowed him to resign. After returning home, his mother recovered. When the family is poor, he grows vegetables and sells them, and then buys back the vegetables that his mother loves. He also feeds a flock of sheep and milks his mother every day. Under his careful care, my mother spent her old age peacefully.

The Zhou Dynasty was a dutiful son. When his mother died young, his father pitied him for lack of food and clothing, so he married his stepmother to take care of Min Zikai. A few years later, the stepmother gave birth to two sons, and the children gradually became cold. One year, winter came and dad didn't come home. The stepmother is eccentric in making cotton-padded clothes, her son uses thick cotton wool, and the son uses reed tidbits. One day, my father came back and asked Zi Qian to help pull the cart out. It was cold outside and his clothes were cold, but he put up with it silently and said nothing to his father. Later, the cotton cloth on Zi Qian's shoulder was worn out by the rope. When the father saw the reed flowers in the cotton cloth, he knew that his son was abused by his stepmother and would divorce his wife when he came home. Min Zikai saw her stepmother and two younger brothers crying. Sixteen, deer milk to serve relatives

So he put on deerskin and went to the deer in the deep mountains, hoping to get deer milk to worship his parents, but he was not found by hunters. In the Eastern Han Dynasty, there was a dutiful son named Lumingji, whose name was Gong Ji. When I was six years old, I went to Jiujiang to visit Yuan Shu. Yuan Shu brought oranges to entertain him. Nineteen, crying bamboo shoots

In the Three Kingdoms, there was a dutiful son named Meng. He lost his father when he was a child and his family was poor. Mother and son live together. When she grew up, her mother was old and sick. No matter what his mother wants to eat, he tries his best to satisfy her. One day, my mother was very ill and wanted to eat bamboo shoots to make soup, but it was winter and it was snowing heavily. Where do bamboo shoots come from? He was helpless and couldn't think of any good way, so he ran to the bamboo forest and cried bitterly. I cried for a long time, but I felt hot all over and the wind was very hot. When he opened his eyes, the surrounding snow and ice melted and the vegetation changed from dry to green. Then he looked carefully and found that there were many bamboo shoots around him. His filial piety touched the world. He let his mother eat bamboo shoots, and she recovered.

Twenty-one, begging to support relatives

All the food he asked for was taken home to his parents. His parents didn't taste it. He was hungry and didn't dare to taste it first. If there is wine, kneel down and hold it to your parents. When your parents take the cup, they will get up and sing and dance like children, which makes your parents very happy. Some people sympathize with his poverty and suggest that he work for others and support his relatives with his income. Yang Qi replied, "My parents are old.
