Qian Yanling, the common name of the famous master, was born in 19 14, became a monk at the age of 19, and 1934 was ordained in Dinghui Temple. He is the first graduate of Jiaoshan Buddhist College. Master Mingshan became attached to Buddhism in Zhao Puchu. He went all over the world to give lectures, preach dharma and release precepts. He enjoys a high reputation at home and abroad and has far-reaching influence. He has given lectures in Singapore for five times, and taught Dharma in Hong Kong 1 14 days. Deeply admired by his disciples, he is worthy of being a model of compassion, a mentor of four schools and a generation of monks.
