He likes calligraphy since he was a child. At the age of 6, I began to practice calligraphy in Linchi. First he studied Yan Ti, then he studied Wei Bei, and then he studied under the famous calligrapher Xi Zhiqiang and the master of calligraphy and painting. After 30 years of continuous study, research and innovation, his works have become more and more mature and self-contained, and won many awards at home and abroad. His calligraphy style is Gu Zhuo, vigorous, tall and straight, graceful, generous and elegant, just like his diligence, humility and gentleness. His pen and ink are full, and with his unique visual beauty, he sang his heroic life and the warmth of the world. Throughout his works, there is a positive arrogance and domineering between the lines.
Since 1990s, his works have been selected for various exhibitions, including national exhibitions, and have been collected by many universities, museums and collectors. His works were introduced and reported in china network television, Guangdong Satellite TV and Dongguan Satellite TV respectively. Wu Yongbin is currently a director of China Painting and Calligraphy Research Association, vice president of China Auspicious Painting and Calligraphy Institute, and a researcher at Dongguan Base of Landscape Painting Creation Institute of Foreign Cultural Exchange Center of Ministry of Culture.
