“When reading, you must know how to enter and exit.” This is a famous saying by Chen Shan, a scholar in the Southern Song Dynasty. Knowing the "out" and "in" of reading is the unity of a serious academic attitude and scientific academic methods. Chen Shan said in "New Words on Men Liao": "You must know the method of entry and exit when reading. You should first seek for the reason for entering, and finally seek for the reason for exit. Seeing the intimacy, this is the entry of calligraphy; using it thoroughly, this is the exit of calligraphy. The cover cannot enter If you get the book, you don’t know the intentions of the ancients. If you can’t get the book, you will die in words.” This means that when reading, we must strive to be in-depth, comprehensive, and understand the spiritual essence. We must not skim and skim; moreover, we must jump out after reading. Books should be observed quietly, become familiar with them, and learn how to use them. You cannot "read to death" and become a slave to books. Translation should be: when reading, you must know how to get out (book) and into (book). At the beginning, you should pursue how to enter the book, and finally pursue how to get out. If you feel familiar when you see the articles in the book, this is the way to enter the book; if you use the knowledge in the book thoroughly, this is the way to publish the book. So if you can't integrate it into the book, you just don't know the intention of the ancients. If you can't get out of the book, that's because you're stuck in words and reading, and you can't use it flexibly. (For reference only~5 to make sure it is correct~)
