When he was a teenager in middle school in Guiyang, he devoted himself to anti-Japanese and national salvation activities, and successively participated in progressive organizations such as Morning Bell and Zhuguang. After graduating from the Department of Political Economics of Guizhou University, he went to Qingzhen County in 1950 to participate in land reform work, and was later assigned to work in the Personnel Department of the Guizhou Provincial Department of Civil Affairs and the Administrative Secretariat of the Department of Personnel. He once served as assistant to the principal and teaching director of a provincial cadre school, secretary of the office of Guiyang Medical College, director of the office of Guiyang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, director of the provincial government secretariat and director of the comprehensive department.
From 1980 to 1985, he served as Director of the Office and Deputy Secretary-General of the Standing Committee of the Guizhou Provincial People’s Congress.
In 1986, he was transferred to the Guizhou Provincial Research Institute of Literature and History as deputy director. Committed to the study of literature and poetry, expanding business, and contacting relatives and friends in Taiwan, carrying out cross-strait cultural exchange activities, participating in the organization of the "Guizhou Style Poetry, Calligraphy and Painting Research Society" and literature and history research.
Retired in 1991. Served as a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, a member of the Chinese Poetry Society and the Chinese Qu Yuan Society,
Member of the Chinese Artists Academy Committee;
Deputy leader of the Southwest Group of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, and the organizer of the Guizhou Calligraphers Association The group leader also serves as the first executive director and executive vice president of the Panzhou Provincial Calligraphers Association.
