Calligraphy vertical writing

The calligraphy vertical is written like this: the vertical pen is written the same as the vertical hook, without returning the pen, but at the end of the vertical pen, pause slightly to the lower left, then return the pen, and then draw the hook quickly to the upper left.

With the development of regular script in Tang Dynasty, this writing method has been formed. Among the four regular scripts, there are two ways to write "vertical hook". Look carefully at the following two fragments of ancient posts: Ninety percent Palace by Ou Yangxun and Mysterious Pagoda by Liu Gongquan. Their spelling of "vertical hook" is still different. The "vertical hook" in Mysterious Pagoda has a back when it leaves the front, while the "vertical hook" in Jiuchenggong has no back when it leaves the front.

Writing method: draw a "point" diagram with strokes, and then return the pen to the middle position of the "point" diagram, descend and gradually become lighter. When going out, the intensity gradually increases, reaching the tail of the "vertical" pen, gently squatting to the lower left, and then quickly hooking to the upper left.

Pay attention to two points: although the middle part of the vertical is slightly lighter, the strength of the two ends should not be too different, otherwise the waist of the whole row is too thin to support the "weight" of the whole row; The "vertical" on the lower left should be consistent with the pen, and the turning point should not be written with a stiff feeling.

Writing method: The writing method of the "vertical" pen is the same as that of the "vertical hook" without returning the pen, except that it reaches the tail of the "vertical" pen, pauses to the lower left, returns the pen, and then quickly hooks to the upper left. Note: don't reply too much, just a little, and you need more practice.

There are also two ways to write "vertical lift". Let's take a closer look at the following two fragments of ancient posts: Yan Zhenqing's Many Babies and Han and Ji An's Biography. In the multi-pagoda monument, "vertical lifting" consists of two strokes.

In the Biography of Han Ji 'an, in addition to the above writing methods, there is also a molding writing method of "vertical lifting", such as "long" and "good". Therefore, the two ways of writing "vertical lifting" are distinguished by whether it is shaped or not.
