As early as the beginning of 2005, Sun Zhu Art Research Association adopted the initiative of relevant comrades, and planned to collect and publish the paintings and calligraphy works that Mr. Sun Zhu gave to the majority of painting and calligraphy lovers free of charge during his lifetime as a permanent memorial. With the consent of the editorial department of Collection magazine, * * * and the editor jointly published a commemorative collection of Sun Zhu's excellent works of giving ink (tentative name), and in 2005, a notice for soliciting Sun Zhu's ink was published in the 1 1 issue of Collection magazine, which was responded and recognized by many collectors.
The publication of this book is a historical record of Mr. Sun Zhu's hard work and selfless dedication in epigraphy and calligraphy, especially in his later years. * * * Mr. Sun Zhu's 235 works are arranged in chronological order, and inscriptions of Mr. Sun Zhu's social celebrities, teachers and friends and photos of his activities before his death are distributed. In addition, the comments of teachers, friends and collectors compiled by the editor on Mr. Sun Zhu are also attached, aiming at enabling readers to understand and appreciate Mr. Sun Zhu's personality charm and social influence in an all-round and multi-angle way.
