History of Macheng Chengmagang

Chengmagang Town is a famous old revolutionary base area. During the revolutionary war years, more than 20,000 outstanding sons and daughters here gave their precious lives. There are 5,900 martyrs, including General Wang Shusheng, General Chen Zaidao and General Xu, Lieutenant General Zhang Caiqian, General Ding and Major General Ding, 26 generals Xiao Yongzheng, Zhu Shifeng, Xu, Zhao Binglun and Xiao Zhigong, and 35 provincial leaders. The first party member (Wang You 'an), the first party branch, the first peasant self-defense force and the first peasant association in Macheng were born here, which is one of the birthplaces of the famous "Jute Uprising".

At present, the revolutionary relics preserved in the territory include "Riding Hall", General Cemetery, Xu and General Cemetery, the former site of the August 7th Conference conveyed by Macheng County Committee, yangsi Village, Fangjiahuan and Desheng Village. Here is an ideal place for vacation, tourism, sightseeing, traditional education, investment and factory building.
