(1) unexpectedly won the palace exam and unexpectedly refused to get married.
History shows that Zhang Xiaoxiang is talented and clever. "Reading never forgets anything, but writing a thousand words in an instant". It is said that when he was a child studying in the study in summer, he heard the frogs in the pond outside the window for a long time, so he was upset, grabbed the inkstone and smashed it into the pool. The frog in the pool suddenly became silent. Stranger still, since then, there have been no frogs croaking in the pool, and the pool has been renamed as "frog-free pool".
He is a well-educated and talented person. /kloc-at the age of 0/6, he won the provincial examination and passed all the way until the Golden Temple won the championship. Qin Gui, the great traitor and prime minister of the dynasty, said strangely: You put the articles on strategy, calligraphy and poetry in the first place, and you have finished all the good things in the world.
Why is Qin Gui so mean to him? It's a long story Zhang Xiaoxiang and Qin Gui's grandson Qin Feng are students taking the exam together. Qin Gui and his gang have done a good job in black-box operation, and Qin Mang also won the first place in the provincial examination.
In the last stage of the palace entrance examination, they presented the default list to the emperor before the palace entrance examination, intending to go through the formalities by the emperor and let Qin Feng become the top scholar. Although Zhang Xiaoxiang's reputation is in full swing, ranking second, I don't think anyone can offend her.
As everyone knows, when he entered the palace for the exam that day, Song Gaozong was in good spirits. He didn't go through the motions so casually and acted as an examiner in the north. Qin Mang still has a certain level, but what he wrote is nothing new. The whole story is a copy of those cliches of Grandpa Qin Gui and his father Qin Mang.
Song Gaozong looked behind him with a straight face.
And Zhang Xiaoxiang's 14,000-word strategy, "Answer the holy question in a thousand words and put it into practice without adding anything." Song Gaozong picked up Zhang Xiaoxiang's handwritten notes and rummaged through them. He asserted: "He has never written a manuscript. His pen is vigorous and can be finished in an instant, but if he is careless from the beginning." "Calligraphy and painting are vigorous and outstanding, and they must have a name." Most importantly, the article can criticize the shortcomings of the times and is full of sincere love for the country and frank loyalty to the monarch.
After seeing the "Grand Prize", Song Gaozong praised "elegance and integrity, elegance and beauty speak louder than words", and finally gave up the original default plan of Qin Gui and his gang, "Filial piety first, reduced to three". It is a good thing that Song Gaozong, who has been deceived by Qin Gui, became the monarch this time.
The next day, after Song Gaozong officially announced the ranking in the Ying Ji Temple, a group of people just walked out of the door of the temple, and Minister Cao Yong couldn't wait to stop Zhang Xiaoxiang, the new champion, and bowed and said that he would betrothed his daughter to him.
At that time, it was not uncommon to say "get married before the list", which can be said to have formed a custom. Don't say the top scholar Lang, as long as he is famous on the list, he can marry a daughter-in-law and choose a distant one. Disciples from poor families can take this opportunity to step into the upper class. It is a happy thing for everyone.
Strangely, Zhang Xiaoxiang turned a blind eye to this "big pie" falling from the sky in full view, which bored Cao Yong.
As we all know, Cao Yong is the wife, brother and close friend of Prime Minister Qin Gui, and no one dares to offend him. Not taking his advice not only hindered his career. I also found a difficult opponent to spite myself.
After the "shame of Jingkang", his father Zhang Qi was forced to leave his hometown to avoid chaos. The memory of his early escape made Zhang Xiaoxiang set his ambition from the bottom of his heart to "aim high and recover lost ground" and become a staunch hawk. How does Zhang Canxiao Xiang, who hates evil, collude with traitors and thieves?
(two) the official time is not long, but outstanding achievements.
The moon won the laurel, which made Zhang Xiaoxiang deeply feel Song Gaozong's gratitude and strengthened his loyalty to the country. Song Gaozong also appreciates his temperament and talent. Keep promoting him. But his loyalty to the monarch is not to be an official, but to serve the country and save it from the quagmire.
Although peace has been maintained for 12 years since the Shaoxing Agreement was signed at that time, Jin's heart of subjugating the country and destroying the Song Dynasty has never died out, and tens of thousands of heroes on the north bank of the Yangtze River are eyeing it. What about the Southern Song Dynasty? The imperial court was content with partiality, the big traitor in Qin Gui was in power, the corrupt officials were arrogant and domineering, the people were poor, the national armament was lax, the military discipline was lax, and the soldiers had no intention of making progress or taking revenge.
Zhang Xiaoxiang believes that the urgent task of the imperial court is to turn over a new leaf, unite public opinion, and work together with Qi Xin to overcome the difficulties. Rehabilitate Yue Fei is the best way to unify the ruling and opposition thoughts and cheer up the spirit.
Zhang Xiaoxiang wrote a letter demanding that Yue Fei be rehabilitated.
Zhang Xiaoxiang is not a rude person, but a man with strategy. In his article, he deliberately ignored the wrongdoers, repeatedly excused the emperor and focused on rehabilitating Yue Fei. "I want to restore my title, show my loyalty, and broadcast it at home and abroad" in order to achieve the goal of "giving the eyes of loyal souls to Jiuyuan and making justice known to the world".
No matter how to talk about strategy, it is actually scolding bald donkeys in front of monks. After reading it, Song Gaozong was so angry that he wanted to die. But out of sincere loyalty to Zhang Xiaoxiang, or out of guilt for killing Zhongliang in vain, he finally "tolerated", just to keep his ears clean and let Zhang Xiaoxiang go abroad. Little did they know that Qin Gui and his gang had been "drugged" by Zhang Xiaoxiang. In just over ten years' official career, they have leisure and frequent transfers. Nevertheless, he made a contribution.
When he was the magistrate of Fuzhou, the local garrison once mutinied and plundered everywhere because he could not pay his salary. Other civil and military officials remained vigilant and hid without a trace. Zhang Xiaoxiang single-handedly rushed into the barracks, first to appease the mood of the mutinous soldiers, and then opened the position to distribute gold and silk. In the meantime, he secretly observed and identified the troublemaker, arrested him and ordered his beheading, which quickly stabilized the situation.
When Pingjiang was the magistrate, there was a rich man named Binhai Capsule who did many wicked things. Zhang Xiaoxiang arrested and punished him, sealed up his grain depot and confiscated thousands of grains and millet stones. The following year, there was a great famine in Wuzhong, and the local people relied on these confiscated grains to survive the famine. Since then, the floods in eastern Zhejiang have flooded and the people are in dire straits. Zhang Xiaoxiang wrote to the court twice, demanding that the court "don't urge Zhejiang to pay debts". The imperial court felt that it loved the people and promised to reduce or exempt them so that the victims could survive.
Although he was appointed as the peace envoy of Jinghu North Road only eight months ago, he still "built an inch of golden embankment, and Jingzhou was naturally free from floods, and built a thousand warehouses to store tanks", which was praised by the world as "the voice of six counties"
1 163, Song Jun suffered "the collapse of liv". Where the defeated soldiers led by Shao Hongyuan passed, "the market was empty and the people were very scared." Zhang Xiaoxiang used his friendship with Shao Hongyuan to send letters of sympathy, and bought hundreds of welcome rice at his own expense to join his father in the lake. Shao Hongyuan was trapped by the ceremony. Although unwilling and helpless, he still had to lead the troops to leave Wuhu. Wuhu people survived, and they were all grateful to Zhang Xiaoxiang.
It can be said that whenever Zhang Xiaoxiang takes office and serves the people, he is retiring from office and trying his best to solve problems for the people.
(3) The emperor personally rebuilt the tablet for him.
Although this story comes from unofficial history rather than the official history, I believe it is true.
It is said that Zhang Xiaoxiang personally wrote the name of Phoenix Pool under Ciyunling during his lifetime. Someone carved it into a wooden monument, painted it red and stood by the pool. The monks in the temple near the pool respected his character and carefully protected this wooden monument.
On this day, the emperor's uncle, Uncle Xia, came and asked the monks to make tea for him and bring it to the small pavilion by the pool, so that he could enjoy the scenery while eating. When he saw the woodcut inscribed by Zhang Xiaoxiang, he insisted that the word was not well written and asked someone to pull it out and replace it with the woodcut inscribed by him. Everyone dared to say, so we had to do it.
After a while, Song Xiaozong visited here and found that the words on the wooden tablet by the pool had changed, not Zhang Xiaoxiang's. I didn't know it was written by Uncle Xia until I asked. Song Xiaozong was furious. He personally cut the wooden tablet with an axe, and the people came forward to cut it. Soon the board turned into a pile of sawdust. Ask again, where is Zhang's monument? Monks hurriedly carried the Zhang Xiaoxiang stone tablet wrapped in red silk out of the temple.
Song Xiaozong personally wiped the dust off the stone tablet and told everyone to stand up quickly and stay here forever, and no one could move. In the future, this wooden monument and the clear lake water have become a beautiful scenery here.
Zhang Xiaoxiang was a famous poet in the Southern Song Dynasty. His poetic style is bold and bold, and he is the representative of "bold school". His works, such as "The Collection of Yuhu Jushi" and "Yuhu Ci", have been handed down from generation to generation. The author appreciated his ci very much in his early years, and now ends this article with a passage from his ci Nian Nu Jiao:
On the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival, there is not a breath of wind on the grass in Dongting Lake. Jade Sword Qiongtian covers 30,000 hectares and gives me a boat. The moon is bright, and the river is * * * shadow, and it is * * * clear inside and outside. The bright moon and the bright galaxy reflect their posture in this vast jade scene, and the water surface is bright and clear.
