Explanation of Yan Qin's stele
The full name is "The Shinto Stele of Protector Yan Jun in the History of the Governor of Langkui Prefecture, written by the Secretary of the Tang Dynasty". Inscriptions from the Tang Dynasty. It was established in Chang'an (today's Xi'an, Shaanxi) in 779 AD. Written by Yan Zhenqing. The original stele had inscriptions on all sides, but during the Song and Yuan Dynasties the inscriptions were rubbed off on one side.
