There are not many directors who have ideas about martial arts films. Not many people can shoot according to their own ideas like Tsui Hark. Lu Yuan, director of Embroidered Spring Knife, has his own ideas, although it may be influenced by commercial elements in the implementation process. The highlight of this film is that the story is good. Now it seems difficult to find a good story in a genre film in a cinema. The White-haired Witch spent all her efforts on special effects and scenes. Director Zhang Zhiliang seems to forget that movies are always narrative, which is essentially different from MTV.
