Zhang Jinfang's calligraphy is also very famous. He is familiar with Shuo Wen Jie Zi, loves epigraphy and understands the origin of calligraphy. Qi, Zhong You and Wang Xizhi, whose fine print is close to Wang Chong's "Book of Rites Monument" and "Yi Ying Monument", are vigorous and rigorous, and they studied under Zhao Mengfu. At present, Shunde Museum has his official script axis, running script four-character poem axis, running script seven-character banner, running script four screens, running script banner and running script. The Guangdong Provincial Museum has a collection of poetry manuscripts and thousands of banners in official scripts. Guangzhou Art Museum has Lishu Axis, Lishu Poetry and Talks, Caoshu Axis and Caoshu Poetry Collection. The cultural relics collection of the Chinese University of Hong Kong includes Li Shu Axis of Lin Han Monument and Running Script Banner. Foshan Museum has a collection of "scrolls".
Zhang Jinfang's paintings are equally excellent. He is good at painting landscapes, flowers and orchids, especially plum blossoms. What does "A Brief Introduction to Lingnan" say: "Landscape flowers, orchids and bamboos are all strange, written by Mayo Office". He painted stone dots of landscape trees with burnt ink, which made his charm vivid, while he painted plum trees with beautiful branches and extremely clean and moist. He painted for his friends and orchids, and made a quatrain on the painting: "Wang Sun is ashamed to treat Wu, so why should Xuan avoid chickens?" When Xiao Ai saw the best of them, he knew the original point of Jingwei. " Both calligraphy and painting are excellent and received rave reviews. People are scrambling to collect his works. At present, there are Impatiens painted by him in Shunde Museum, Mumeitu Axis and Landscape Fan Page in Provincial Museum, Zhu Lan Axis and Flower Axis in Guangzhou Art Museum, and Plum Axis imitating Wang Yuanzhang in Foshan Museum.
Zhang Jinfang was addicted to art. When he returned to Jiangxi for illness, he fell into the water in the strong wind. He even ignored his own life, holding high the ink plum and Gu Mo inkstone painted by Wang Yuanzhang. Under his influence, several painters were born among his sons and nephews, among which my nephew Zhang Ruzhi was the most successful and became one of the most influential figures in Guangdong painting circles during Jiaqing and Daoguang years.
