How to evaluate the calligraphy level of Cixi?

There are different opinions about the evaluation of Cixi's calligraphy level. The Palace Museum in Beijing now has a copy of Prajna Paramita Heart Sutra copied by Cixi with cinnabar, which was signed in the 30th year of Guangxu (1904). Since I have to copy Buddhist scriptures myself, Cixi should not let others write them. However, there are also views that although her calligraphy works are not excellent, they are not bad on the whole, with typical Qing dynasty style, concise strokes, rich pen and ink, and full of temple spirit.

On the other hand, some people think that Cixi's cultural literacy, knowledge and intelligence are very general. At the same time, Empress Dowager Cixi was the highest decision-maker in the late Qing Dynasty and Guangxu period. She is knowledgeable and good at calligraphy and painting. Her calligraphy is good at running script and regular script, and her paintings are handed down by flowers.

Generally speaking, there are various comments on Cixi's calligraphy level. On the one hand, some people think that her calligraphy is good and has her own style; On the other hand, some people think that her cultural accomplishment and knowledge and intelligence are not high. These evaluations may have some basis, but they may also be subjective and biased. Therefore, we may need to understand and evaluate Cixi's calligraphy level more comprehensively and objectively.
