awareness of quality
Sense of texture or quality refers to people's real feeling and association with the surface texture (such as hardness, softness, smoothness, roughness, fineness and softness) and measurement of molded objects in the aesthetic process. Calligraphy lines have a certain texture, some are rough and dignified, some are fine and colorful, but they all show a certain texture. The so-called "heavy as a cloud" and "light as a cicada" in the book spectrum; In Bi Tu, stippling is described as "a thousand miles of clouds", "falling rocks" and "long live the withered vine", which is a kind of aesthetic feeling, but what we want to explain is the texture of lines.
So, how to train students? Can be analyzed from two aspects:
First, due to the different performance of writing tools, different strokes and different ink colors, different texture and line effects will be caused. In the usual teaching, it is generally required that thick ink (but thick but not stagnant) is positive, with thick lines, round and solid lines, commensurate with flesh and blood, rigid lines and strong texture, so it will give people a rich and implicit feeling, such as bronze inscriptions. Weight and strength mean texture. Generally speaking, textured lines can evoke aesthetic associations. Therefore, choosing lines with specific shapes to express specific text content, combined with clever composition, may be a masterpiece with unified content and form. For example, thin lines with thick in the thick are suitable for expressing the artistic conception of "Great Wall of Steel", lines with rigid in the soft are suitable for expressing the artistic conception of "drizzle and spring breeze", and dull lines are suitable for expressing the artistic conception of "the cold forest is getting quieter and the tigers are howling and the apes are crying". Otherwise, it is difficult to create a special look and charm of calligraphy works, and it will not brew a simple but elegant or gorgeous or overbearing style. In short, the pen is really hard, the ink is thick and full, and the pen is steady and vigorous. The line effect, whether thick or soft, will give people obvious texture.
Lijue
The remarkable feature of China's calligraphy art, whether in practice or in theory, attaches great importance to the brushwork of stippling. Therefore, when writing a book, you must concentrate on meditation, use your pen wholeheartedly, and pour it into stippling, so as to present powerful lines and fonts. Therefore, it is very important to train the sense of strength in calligraphy teaching, so how to shape powerful lines? It is related to writing, writing, using ink and using lines, which can be summarized into three aspects:
(1) Make the best use of the situation. Where there is momentum, there is strength; Without momentum, strength is weak. Potential refers to the situation, posture, posture, momentum, etc. From the line analysis, there are some potentials, such as left potential, horizontal potential, vertical potential, hook potential, pick potential and hold potential. , and from the pen, there are positive potential (middle) and side potential (side). Calligraphy art and so on are basically the comprehensive embodiment of "potential" Without the power of lines, there would be no appearance of calligraphy. However, to be strong, we must first recognize the potential.
(1) In actual teaching, students are required to take corresponding postures according to the size of fonts. If you sit on a small notebook, the strength of your fingers and wrists can be satisfied, as can the strength of your wrists and elbows in Chinese characters, but it is appropriate to stand on big letters.
(2) writing is flexible. "Books reuse pens, only those who use pens, so those who are good at books use pens, and those who are not good at books use pens." The ancients attached great importance to writing and combined with their usual teaching practice. I think we can integrate the concepts of "palm empty", "wrist flat and palm vertical", "heart straight and round", "virtual suspension straight and tight" and "wrist life refers to death", and a flexible understanding will meet the requirements. The so-called pen is nothing more than the words "grip" and "luck", with "finger" as the main "grip" and "wrist" as the main "luck". If the two words are combined properly, the purpose of using a pen can be achieved. Pupils should learn to hold pens with five fingers and hang their wrists.
