What is the Chinese decoration style in your impression? I guess it is, the house is full of wood carvings, expensive mahogany furniture, and calm colors. But if I tell you, add some bright colors, such as orange and blue, to the Chinese decoration style, do you think it will look good? Someone actually did this!
Basic information:
Area: 115_
Layout: 3 bedrooms, 2 living rooms and 2 bathrooms
The owner of this house likes Chinese decoration style very much , the original house was also decorated in Chinese style, and it was the kind of "rich" Chinese style. After living there for more than ten years, I felt a little tired of aesthetics, so I wanted to change my feeling and feel more relaxed.
A courageous designer accepted this challenge to see how he can make the Chinese decoration style maintain a strong classical charm while making people feel comfortable and relaxed!
Because of his passion for Chinese decoration style, the homeowner also collected a lot of things related to it, such as exquisite Chinese window grilles. Designers use ingenious ideas to make these collections of homeowners become part of the home.
The window grilles on the corridor ceiling, the Chinese paintings on the main wall of the restaurant, and the carved windows in the daughter's room not only make the walls and ceilings more colorful, but also sublimate the value of these collections. The owner of the house must be very happy to see his favorite collection every day.
Some Chinese elements from the previous decoration were retained and reused by the designer, adding bright colors to make the Chinese style look much "younger".
The entrance floor is made of retro bricks, creating a rustic atmosphere. The end view of the entrance hall still has the same stone wall as before, but the original carp picture frame embedded in the wall has been remodeled, with orange as the background color to reflect the leaping posture of the fish.
▲The overall tone and material of the entrance hall present a simple texture, and are embellished with jumping orange, adding a touch of life to the calmness.
▲As a fan of Chinese style, the TV background wall naturally has Chinese elements. The calligraphy wallpaper exudes a scholarly connotation, and is decorated with door lintels, window grilles, and Ruyi door panels, and is paired with the owner’s favorite Chinese furniture to naturally create a restrained and calm atmosphere.
▲The owner of the house has a collection of "Along the River During the Qingming Festival". The authenticity is not clear, so the designer exported the large picture of the painting and framed it as the background wall of the living room sofa, which not only enhances the style , and also shows the taste of the homeowner. The display cabinet next to it deliberately adds circular window grilles to bring in the meaning of "perfection" that Chinese people value most.
▲ Combine the window grilles with lampshades and walls. This clever design makes the aisle more distinctive. When passing through the aisle, you can see the beauty of the light and shadow of the window grilles falling from the ceiling to the ground or reflected from the side.
▲It turned out to be an open kitchen, which was really unfriendly for Chinese food, so the designer used window grilles to cover it, showing a complete regional feel and more suitable for the dining room tables and chairs. Deliberately rounding the corners and affixing silver stickers not only reduces the sharpness of the corners, but also increases visual pleasure.
▲Compared to the homeowner, his daughter is not so "obsessed" with Chinese decoration style. The girl's room deliberately uses active colors, and the highly saturated blue and green colors make the Chinese-style space, which is always dark in the impression, appear lively and reveal vitality in the calmness.
▲As soon as you enter the master bedroom, you can feel a Chinese style breeze blowing. The bedside wall is covered with peony wallpaper, and the screen is also embroidered with peonies. Why peonies? Because, "Only peonies are the true national color and move the capital when they bloom." The rich and luxurious charm of it is the most suitable.
I thought that adding bright colors to the Chinese decoration style would look very different. After seeing the actual decoration effect, I realized that the Chinese style does not always have to be straight-faced!
