He loved calligraphy and painting since he was a child. He graduated from Shandong Ningyang Normal University in 1989, and from Qufu Normal University in 1995. Tang Kai, a beginner in calligraphy, paid attention to the rhyme of Wei and Jin Dynasties, and later pursued seal cutting, official duties and calligraphy, especially being good at the style of "two kings". Pay attention to the imitation of tradition, fear the classics, strictly abide by their posts, learn from new ideas, and keep up with the times. The brushwork pays attention to the simultaneous entry of block letters and cursive scripts; Pursuing health, beauty, sparseness, spirituality, softness and elegance; The arrangement of rules pays attention to smooth stretching, elegant style, no stimulation and pure breath; The strokes are firm and muddy, and the body is extremely stable. No matter the size, opening and closing, retracting, implicating, correcting, or emptiness, density, words and overall momentum, they can be organically combined, and strive to pursue the combination of ancient rhyme and the atmosphere of the times.
