Sipailou, also known as the Central Pavilion, is located in the cross street of Puyang Old Town, with a height of 8.6 meters, a length of 6.6 meters and an area of 43.56 square meters. The building is a wood and stone structure, square, and its four corners are supported by stone pillars. The roof of the pavilion is all wood, with tight tenons. The four corners are supported by bucket arches, glazed tiles are attached to the eaves of the pavilion, and the green light flashes. There are eight squatting lions carved on the top ridge, which are lifelike. The four vertical ridges are shaped like Yi Long, a phoenix, a fish and a horse, showing dragon and phoenix dancing and fish jumping like horses. The four-cornered beast hangs bronze bells and the wind jingles. The pavilion is decorated with patterns, carved beams and painted buildings, which is very beautiful. The outer wall is carved like a bucket, vigorous and powerful, written by calligrapher Liu Wenxuan. It is said that Zhuan Xu is the capital in the east, the old county in the west, the river plastic protection in the south and the lock key in the north, which summarizes Puyang's long history and important geographical position. Huiluan Monument, also known as "the reputation of Qidan", is located on the west side of Yujing Street in Puyang City. This monument was originally bluestone, with a height of 2.6m and a width of1.3m. The inscription is a poem written by Song Zhenzong.
The plaque in the east is called the legacy capital of Zhuan Xu, which highly summarizes Puyang's long history, culture and lofty historical position.
The plaque on the south side reads "Heshuo Bao", which vividly shows that Guzhou is an important town in Heshuo and a place in the world.
The plaque on the west side called Jiuyuan Old County once again illustrates Puyang's long history and important position.
The plaque on the north side of Sipailou, called the North Gate Lock, illustrates Puyang's military strategic position.
