This stele was written and signed by Pei Xiu, a calligrapher of the Tang Dynasty, and the forehead was in seal script by Liu Gongquan. The inscription has 36 lines, each line has 65 words. The calligraphy is similar to that of Liu Gongquan, and the style is stronger and stronger than that of Liu Gongquan. The brushwork is rigorous and square, the structure is precise and tight, and the calligraphy style has both hardness and softness. It is one of the fine inscriptions of Buddhist temples in the late Tang Dynasty.
