Dong Libin, born in 1952, is from Songjiang, Shanghai (he is the fifteenth generation grandson of Dong Qichang). The founder of "One Stroke Painting", the president of the Traditional Chinese Zodiac Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, the president of the Li Rong Calligraphy Association, and the director of the "Tianzhong Culture and Art Communication Center"; the organizing committee member of the "CCTV Five Grand Prix"; Visiting professor of calligraphy and painting at the China Academy of Defense Technology; senior consultant of the Great Wall Soul Poems, Calligraphers and Painters Association; honorary president of the Yan Zhenqing Calligraphy and Painting Academy; senior calligrapher and painter among the "100 Contemporary Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Masters".
Dong Libin, the founder of one-stroke painting, is the initiator of the modern literary school of traditional pictographic calligraphy and founded the "Chinese Zodiac Calligraphy and Painting Research Association". In 2005, he was appointed as a professional judge of the Oriental Youth International Painting and Calligraphy Competition. In 2006, he was appointed as an organizing committee member of the CCTV Five Grand Prix Competition. In 2007, he was specially invited by the Chinese Ministry of Culture to participate in the Second China International Art Investment and Collection Expo. The work once again caused a sensation; in 2008, it participated in the "Olympic Journey, Chinese Impressions and National Art Exhibition" of the Olympic Games.
