Poetic background
Recalling Qin 'e Loushanguan was written by Du Fu during Tianbao period of Xuanzong in Tang Dynasty (742-756). At that time, the Tang dynasty was in its heyday, but it was also facing the threat of frontier war. This poem of Du Fu was born under such a historical background.
