Why is China sculpture not as famous as calligraphy and painting?

Because in ancient times, officials, businessmen and teachers should be good at writing. Including the imperial examination, which is now the college entrance examination. As the saying goes, "words are the beginning of economics and politics." There are also folks who say, "Words are hammers." This means that if you want to open the door to any field, good writing is the first element.

In contrast, sculpture is less important and belongs to craftsmen.

Europe, on the other hand, puts sculpture in a very high position and belongs to the art category.

European characters are basically pinyin letters, just 20 or 30 letters. So, this piece is not that important.
