In the summer of 5 12 BC (the third year of He Lv, the king of Wu), Wu sent envoys to order Xu (now Sixian County, Anhui Province) and Zhong You to hand over Yan Yu, the son who led the troops abroad. Relying on the powerful Chu State as the backstage, the two countries refused to accept it and sent their second son to Chu State without authorization.
King Zhao of Chu was very happy, and immediately sent important officials to greet the Second Childe grandly, and let the Second Childe stay in the breeding ground (now shenqiu county, Henan). Then, he ordered Yan and Sajima to guard the cultivated city, and sealed the city father in the northeast and the lake field in the southeast to the second son, in an attempt to use the second son to harm the State of Wu.
The "Second Childe Incident" of Zhong Wu's national subjugation just gave the prince an excuse to send troops. In the winter of 5 12 BC, the king of Wu sent Sun Wu and Wu Zixu to attack the crime. Zhong Wu's country is poor and weak. When our city was broken, Zhong Wu's country immediately perished and its jurisdiction was incorporated into Wu.
Four years after the death of Zhou Yuanwang (47 BC1), the original place where the State of Wu in China was occupied by the State of Chu. In the 24th year of Qin Shihuang (223 BC), after Qin destroyed Chu State, the site of Zhongwu State was changed to Siwu County (located in xinzhai village, Malingshan Town, xinyi city City, Jiangsu Province), Jianling County (located near xinyi city City, Jiangsu Province) and Xia Xiang County (located in Sucheng District, Suqian City).
The scenic spots of the former site of Zhongwu's old country include: Maling Mountain in Xinyi (the 4th and 5th Mountain) (according to legend, the ancient battlefield of Maling War), the ancient cultural site of Huating in Xinyi, and the site of Zhongwu National Capital in Xinyi. Emperor Qianlong went down to the south of the Yangtze River and passed by Zhong Wu's hometown. He once climbed Maling Mountain and wrote a poem, "Zhong Wu can only hit a stone on the road, which is somewhat beautiful."
