"China Calligraphy City" was selected by China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and China Calligraphers Association.
At the awarding ceremony, Yu Xu, consultant of China Calligraphy Association and chairman of Hebei Calligraphy Association, awarded the plaque of "China Calligraphy City" to Nie Ruiping, mayor of Langfang City. Zhao Changqing, Party Secretary of China Calligraphy Association, fully affirmed Langfang's calligraphy career in his speech. "Langfang is located in the hinterland of Gyeonggi, with a long history and rich cultural accumulation, which has nurtured many celebrities with strong personalities."
