Different kinds of peach blossoms are planted on the island. In spring, all kinds of peach blossoms bloom, and the peach blossom stream gurgles. In addition, the rockery piled with stones in Taihu Lake on the island seems to be in a quiet and natural paradise.

When Zongshen ruled Taizhou, Huang Facao planted this plum blossom and wrote poems, which attracted many people such as Su Shi brothers to sing together. In the Southern Song Dynasty, Chen Gai, the magistrate of Taizhou, built a "fragrance pavilion" on the island and carved Su Shi and Su Zhe's poem "Plum Blossom Original Rhyme" on the stone wall, which was called "Four Sages Poetry". Now, Lotus Island is built, combined with the curved river bank, Huangshi rockery is arranged on the steep slope, and plants such as lotus and lotus root are planted in the water. A soup bridge was built on the edge of Lotus Island, and a stone tablet was erected beside the bridge, which recorded the story that Song Zhao Kuang Yin took refuge in Thailand and was given a bowl of porridge by the local people. After winning the world, I returned to Taizhou to give the name of the bridge. There is a fragrance pavilion in the north of the bridge, and there are four stone tablets beside the pavilion, which are engraved with the poems of Su Shi, Su Zhe and other "four sages".
