The title of this poem is "Send the Ziqidan", and the full text of the poem is as follows:
Send the child to Qidan.
Su Shi
I, Ji Shen, am here across the sea of clouds from you. Why? Because you want to travel and wet your clothes with tears.
You took pains to act as an emissary, braved the wind and snow, and let foreigners know about the outstanding elites of the imperial court.
You will look back at the moon in Kyoto in the desert, and your soul will see the spring scenery in the spring.
If Liao Wang asks about your home, don't say that the first few people in the imperial court are only in the palace.
For this poem, we can understand it like this:
I'm here, facing you across the sea of clouds, so why should I cry? Because you have to travel far away. You took the trouble to be a messenger and braved the snow just to let foreigners know the outstanding elites in the imperial court.
You will look back at the jathyapple in Kyoto with nostalgia in the desert, and when you dream, you will definitely cross the lake and see the spring scenery in Hang Cheng. If Liao Lord asks about your family background, don't say that the first person in the DPRK was only in the Su family court.
In the whole poem, the most surprising thing is the last sentence, "If the master of Liao asks about your family background, don't say that the first person in the DPRK was only in the Su family court." It can be seen that Su Shi is an extremely conceited person, and he is a very powerful person for his family. So, does Su Shi have such capital? The answer is yes.
In the eyes of the world, Su Shi is a very powerful figure. He Zizhan, He Zhong, Tieguan Taoist, Dongpo layman, known as Su Dongpo and Su Xian. He was a famous writer, calligrapher and painter in the Northern Song Dynasty, and he was also called "Ou Su" with Ouyang Xiu, one of the "Eight Masters of Tang and Song Dynasties". Such a person is obviously very powerful, so in a sense, he also has proud capital. It is precisely because of this that Su Shi said this in his letter to his younger brother.
Moreover, besides Su Shi, Su Jia was also a famous existence at that time. Su Shi's father, Su Xun, was also one of the eight masters in Tang and Song Dynasties. He is good at prose, especially political theory, and is highly praised by later generations. Su Shi's younger brother, Su Zhe, was also one of the eight masters in Tang and Song Dynasties, and even once served as prime minister and became one of the important figures in the imperial court.
Su Zhe is famous for his prose and is good at political theory and history. His knowledge of life has always been influenced by his father and brother, and his poetry has followed the pace of Su Shi, with a simple style and poor literary talent. In addition, Su Zhe is a person who has made achievements in the field of calligraphy. His calligraphy is chic, neat and orderly.
Obviously, such a family, even today, is a distant existence, a very respectable existence. It is precisely for this reason that Su Shi was so proud to think that his family was a talented person when he wrote this poem.
Although in a sense, people feel a little uncomfortable, after all, most people don't like such a proud person, but from another perspective, Su Shi has his proud capital, and what he said is only a statement of facts.
