Introduction to Jia Hongsheng

Jia Hongsheng was born in Anyang, Henan in 1955, and his nickname is Xijiangshi. He is the first of the four disciples of the contemporary calligraphy master Qi Gong. He is currently a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association. Zhen is proficient in all styles of cursive, official, and seal script, but is especially good at regular script. His calligraphy is valued by the art world for its deep skills, strong personality, and outstanding style. He started studying calligraphy at the age of six and has been studying for more than 50 years. He read all the inscriptions on the stele of famous masters, especially the ink inscriptions on "Yi Ying Stele", Zhang Zhi, Er Wang, Huai Su, Zhang Xu, Liu Gongquan, Zhao Mengfu, Tang Bohu, Zhu Yunming, Lu Runch, Hua Shikui, Yu Youren, etc. Deep. Mr. Meng Qigong's personal guidance, coupled with his extensive study of Northern Wei Dynasty tablets and Han bamboo slips, and then going back to the Jin and Tang Dynasties, down to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and learning from the best of others, Mr. Jia Hongsheng finally formed his own style and became increasingly mature.
