Short horizontal writing in calligraphy

Many people practice calligraphy horizontally. Today, I will explain the writing of "horizontal" in detail through illustrations.

First of all, look at "long horizontal"

Two points should be paid attention to when writing "long horizontal": first, the left is low and the right is high, so it cannot be written as horizontal; Second, the left and right ends of the face should be flat. To master the trajectory of the pen when writing, it can be broken down into four steps, as shown below:

First: pen.

Second: cross diagonally upwards.

Third: come down.

Fourth: return to the original road.

This is a relatively complete text. Let's take a look at the specific writing.

When you start writing, the left side should be as smooth as a knife. In brush calligraphy, this is called "killing paper", just like cutting paper with a sharp knife.

In the specific writing process, there can be appropriate writing changes, starting the pen directly, from light to heavy, pressing and closing the pen, which is also low left and high right.

There is another way to improve writing efficiency, which is also a more difficult way to write. That is, the third step and the fourth step above are merged into one step and directly released.

Say "long cross" and then say "short cross". The shape of a short cross is somewhat similar to that of a left hand. From light to heavy, two movements can be completed.

When you write, you must go back and forth at the end to avoid gaps, so that it looks more rounded.

Finally, I take "three" as an example to illustrate the combination of short horizontal and long horizontal characters.

It is also horizontal, so pay attention to changes.

There is a pen, a pen and a sharp pen. Too many pens for a word will appear heavy and rigid, and all of them will also affect the writing speed.

Therefore, we should not only learn to start with a pen, but also learn to start with a pen directly and sharply. For collecting pens, you should learn to go back the way you came.

You should also learn to accept the pen directly.

Today's "horizontal" writing ends here. Method is very important, so is regular practice!
