Write it on it, indicate what hall it is, and hang poetry banners as couplets on both sides of the horizontal plaque at the front end of more important buildings. People call this method a couplet.

There are many inscribed couplets before the Tang and Song Dynasties in history, especially the buildings in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, which are really dazzling, poetic and interlocking. In temples, palaces, Buddhist temples, ancient pagodas, gardens and other large buildings, plaques are carved with wooden boards, or the characters of plaques are carved with stones and fixed in them.
