Brief introduction of Datong gate in Xichang

Datong Gate, also known as South Gate, is one of the four gates of Jianchangwei (East, South, West and North) in Ming Dynasty. Twenty years after the completion of Hongwu (A.D. 1387), it experienced numerous wars, floods, earthquakes and other disasters.
