Basic information of Zhang Peng.

Zhang Peng: (19 18—2009), a native of Gaomi, Shandong Province, was influenced by his family since childhood and loved painting and calligraphy. Member of China Artists Association, Professor of Shandong Textile Institute of Technology, Vice President of Qingdao Painting Academy, Honorary Dean of Qingdao Painting Academy, together with, and Tao, was also called "the last master of Chinese painting at the end of the 20th century" by critics and became the spiritual leader of painting circles. People's Fine Arts Publishing House and Shandong Fine Arts Publishing House have successively published Zhang Peng's Painting Collection, Zhang Peng's Painting Collection, Zhang Pengfei's Painting Collection and the newly reprinted Zhang Pengfei's Painting Collection. 1940 to 1978, engaged in art education in primary and secondary schools. 1979 Up to now, director and professor of dyeing and weaving art teaching and research section of Shandong Textile Vocational and Technical College. In fact, Zhang Peng is a painter with great personality and talent. Zhang Peng didn't go to a regular university. When he was a teenager, he went to a private school and taught himself painting. Then I spent most of my life as a primary school art teacher. He didn't beg Wen Da, but worked silently. It was not until Mr. Zhang became famous in his later years that he was recommended as a professor at the Institute of Textile Engineering. Zhang Peng is good at flowers and birds, landscapes and figures, especially flowers and birds. In his early years, Zhang studied the high and modern times in Qing Dynasty, combining work with writing. After middle age, he studied under Qi Baishi, specializing in freehand brushwork, and became his own family. His paintings, whether flowers, feathers, animals, landscapes or figures, are vivid, simple and clumsy, with their own characteristics. Every time Zhang paints, he is almost extremely careful, and the picture modeling tries to be concise and vivid. Not many strokes, many strokes, extraordinary and free from vulgarity, full of life breath, giving people resistance to chewing. It is no exaggeration for some critics to comment on Zhang's paintings and say that "he is a person who is similar to or not similar to Baishi". Zhang Peng is famous for his simple life, sincere feelings and devotion to painting. I remember a writer once said that only when the spirit is lonely can he have great art. Zhang Peng was lucky and right. Professor Chen Chuanxi, when compiling the History of Modern Painting in China, listed,, and Tao as four "opposites". Chen Chuanxi is a prestigious art critic today. He is outspoken and tells the truth, and is famous in the art world for Ten Years of Madness. Chen values it so much that it can be seen that Zhang Pengzhi's art is not ordinary people.

Li Keran and Wu Zuoren, the late masters of Chinese painting, also spoke highly of Zhang Peng before his death. Mr. Li once said: Mr. Wang is so extraordinary; Mr. Wu said: the painting art that history will not be buried, now Mr. Wu has entered an octogenarian, and his works are regarded as treasures by the world and loved and respected by people.
