Cultural policy is the general name of a set of institutional regulations, norms, principles and requirements adopted by a country in the administrative management of culture and art, press and publication, radio, film and television, cultural relics, natural history and other fields, and it is a policy form different from other fields such as science and technology policy and education policy.
China's cultural policies, such as Confucius Institute, harmonious diplomacy, China Kung Fu movies, China operas, Chinese medicine, calligraphy, the "Bird's Nest" and the "Water Cube" of the Beijing Olympic Games, all belong to a category of cultural policies.
