Since the 1980s, in addition to his calligraphy works participating in various national and international exhibitions for many times, he has published numerous news reports, cultural interviews and comments, and has also written a large number of papers and works on art history research and art criticism, totaling more than 2 million words. The research scope covers calligraphy, fine arts, photography, archaeology, religion and related cultural fields. The thesis has been selected into international and domestic academic seminars for dozens of times and published in major domestic art newspapers or collections. A considerable number of articles (or works) have aroused strong repercussions in the national calligraphy and art circles.

Won the first China calligraphy theory Book Award (1989). The first prize of "News Award" in Gansu Province 1992, the third prize of the 4th National Calligraphy Symposium (1993), the first prize of excellent news works of provincial newspapers and evening papers in five northwestern provinces (1993), and the outstanding prize of contemporary youth calligraphy and painting exhibition (1999). The first prize of Gansu Radio and Television News Award in 2000, the "Five Ones" Project Award in Gansu Province in 2000, and the first prize of the Fourth Dunhuang Literature and Art Award of Gansu Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government in 2003.

His main deeds have been included in many large biographical dictionaries, such as Who's Who of the World Intellectuals (1 1 version) and People with Achievements (16 version).
