Zhou Sen's advanced deeds

Jinzhai County, Anhui Province, at the foot of Jingangtai in Dabie Mountain, is an old revolutionary base area where General Hong Xuezhi has been. This place has left many revolutionary pioneers' footprints and precious spiritual wealth for the local area. Zhou Sen grew up listening to revolutionary legends, and his heroic deeds and spirit left a deep impression in his heart, which also created his resolute and strong character from an early age. The hard childhood gave Zhou Sen experience and motivation. He was determined to get rid of poverty and serve this hot land, thus forming his childhood life goal. Since then, he has been sympathetic to the disadvantaged groups in society.

All the memories of Zhou Sen's birth are poverty and hunger. His childhood was the same as that of most contemporary rural children: digging dung, chopping wood and cutting wheat ... Besides going to school, he had to do endless farm work all year round. An accidental experience in Chinese class changed Zhou Sen's life course and destiny. The speed at which he pours books with his left hand has surpassed the speed at which ordinary people write orthography with their right hand, which is almost a stroke of a pen.

In the process of writing, Zhou Sen always remembers what his uncle Zhou Shijing said when he was a child who was not sensible. If you want to write well, you must first achieve three highs: First, you should have a high vision, which means reading more books, especially works. See more and you will understand the doorway. The second kind is a master, that is, practicing hand strength and feeling the pen in your hand. To put it bluntly, you need to have kung fu on your hands. The third is that people are tall and big, which is the most rare. It means that people should have high style, high mind, high ambition and high weather, and become a person with great knowledge, wisdom, mind and tolerance.

After dealing with daily work every day, Zhou Sen lets himself quietly watch the nib wet kiss one paper after another, and watch one Chinese character after another become more and more beautiful under his left hand, with more and more styles flying. He was completely immersed in it and entered the state of concentration he was obsessed with: concentrating on service, practicing hard and lifting high, and forgetting fatigue. The setting sun is endless, and there is no food to eat. Ten days, a few pills and a month's ink. Leadership is like soap. Lips and teeth are often black. Although in the crowd, they don't talk about drama, show their fingers and paint the ground, and cover the wall with grass. I scratched the skin of my arm, scratched and destroyed my fingers, and saw bleeding in my cheeks, but I still stopped. ...

Zhou Sen 1992 was on a business trip in Guangzhou, and it happened that Guangzhou was holding the "China Best Exposition". He shocked the land of South Guangdong with the traditional word "dragon" with his left hand and won the grand prize. Within three days, 200 works were taken away from the collection. Jia Jinghong, a Chinese painting and calligraphy critic, wrote an inscription for him: "Make great efforts to govern, but be flashy." . Winning this award in Guangzhou is an important turning point in Zhou Sen's life. Liu Bingsen, vice chairman of China Calligraphers Association, wrote a personal calligraphy exhibition for him. In view of Zhou Sen's artistic achievements, the State General Post Office distributed 300,000 "postage" postcards to the whole country, including 50,000 sets of Zhou Sen's works, to promote his world-class morality. He finally gained something, from an unknown calligraphy writer to a world-famous left-handed anti-calligraphy artist.

Zhou Sen, known as "the first person in China's left-handed calligraphy", was also entangled in interests. Surprisingly, the way he chose to "escape" turned out to be to become a monk in a temple. During this period, he never gave up writing with his left hand, polished calligraphy in practice and realized life in calligraphy. Invisibly, many theories of Buddhism and Zen have been integrated into his works, and charity has become his wish and his future development direction.

With the unremitting pursuit of calligraphy art, Zhou Sen left his hometown. In a few years, he almost traveled all over the country, visiting famous calligraphers and trying to figure out calligraphy inscriptions. That is, during his study abroad, his mother died. At this time, Zhou Sen, who was in Guangzhou, was studying calligraphy somewhere and was at the bottom of his life. The old man had been dead for several days when he got the bad news of his mother's death. Due to financial constraints, he went home from the funeral and knelt for more than a mile. Although he fell on his knees, his mother had been buried for two days when he rushed back to his hometown. He didn't catch up with the death of his mother who worked hard all his life, which became a regret that Zhou Sen could not erase all his life. He knelt at his mother's grave and wept bitterly. Tired of crying, he saw his mother in the second month after he was born. He drank and stewed chicken over and over again for a whole month, as if he saw her pale face after giving birth because of insufficient nutrition. 12 birthday, the mother ate red eggs in order not to make her children feel inferior. When she couldn't even get a few cents to buy red paint at home, she stood on tiptoe and tore off a piece of paper on the "door pair" of red paper that had not completely faded, dipped it in water and wiped it on the egg to make it into a red egg. ..... Zhou Sen secretly swore: Mom, I didn't give you a pension to die. I will be famous and married in the future, and I have the ability to support a loving mother like you!

Zhou Sen never forgot this oath.

In May, 2000, Zhou Sen accidentally learned from a friend that there were 10 elderly people in the nursing home in Angelababy Town, Dengfeng, Henan Province. Because of economic difficulties, their lives are very difficult, and their hearts can no longer be calm. He personally rushed from Beijing to Dengfeng to visit 10 the old man. Seeing the faces of the old people who have suffered many vicissitudes and been ravaged by hard life, Zhou Sen is as sad and kind as seeing his parents. Because of the shortage of funds, the nursing home is dilapidated and has no necessary living facilities. Zhou Sen made up his mind: We must help them and let the elderly live a decent old age! On February 17, just after the Spring Festival, Zhou Sen braved the cold and rushed to Dengfeng from Beijing again. This time, he brought 654.38 million yuan in cash to his parents. In order to show his son's filial piety, he braved the cold wind and bought 10 bag of rice, 10 bag of flour, 10 box of apples and 50 kilograms of pork for his parents as New Year gifts. Twenty-three parents were very excited to see their son return. An old lady kept wiping her tears, took Zhou Sen's hand and said, "Son, how can you be so considerate?" ? This village is full of old people with their sons, and some of them can't enjoy such treatment ... "Old people gathered around Zhou Sen, vying to chat with their sons. Zhou Sen held the hands of the old people and looked at the smiles on their faces, forgetting the tiredness of the journey. The harmonious atmosphere like family moved all the people present.

Since 2000, every time during the Double Ninth Festival and the Spring Festival, Zhou Sen has tried his best to find time to visit these elderly people in Dengfeng, Henan Province, caring about all aspects of their lives, whether they eat well, whether they are dressed warmly or not, and what is wrong with their health. Every time he brings gifts to honor the old people. The old people were moved to tears and took Zhou Sen's hand to be caring and attentive. Zhou Sen said, "Because my own mother is gone, I will treat these old people as my parents, serve them or be filial to them, and give them as much money as I can and visit them on holidays. I also want to find the feeling of living with my parents. " In order to make these old people have a happy old age, Zhou Sen donated more than one million yuan to the nursing home, and the old people also regarded Zhou Sen as their own son. According to the dean of the nursing home in Angelababy Town, Dengfeng City, several elderly people in the nursing home were in poor health the year before last. When Mr Zhou Sen heard about it, he flew back from Beijing to visit the old man and took a group photo. It's a pity that those old people are gone now. When they died, they still had pictures of Zhou Sen in their arms. The scene at that time was very touching.

Respecting the elderly is the traditional virtue of the Chinese nation, and nothing can educate the next generation better than personal experience and personal feelings. Zhou Sen's personal experience shows that a calligrapher's life value is not only reflected in his calligraphy attainments, but also in his concern for society. It is Zhou Sen's responsibility to create a better environment for the elderly. Looking at the smiling faces of the old people, he felt that everything was worth it. At present, under the unanimous initiative of the local government and people, the nursing home has been renamed as "Zhou Sen Nursing Home".
