Kang Yong's introduction
Kang Yong (1931-2003), Zi Erkang, is a famous contemporary calligrapher. Born in Yixian County, Liaoning Province, his ancestral home is Laoting, Hebei Province. Member of China Calligraphers Association. Influenced by family since childhood, I love painting and calligraphy. He studied painting in his early years and also attacked calligraphy. In the late 1950s, he bid farewell to painting and turned his energy to calligraphy. Since then, he has dabbled in a wide range, learned from others, learned from others, worked hard and made progress, and achieved universally recognized artistic achievements. He studied western painting when he was young, but changed to calligraphy in the mid-1950s. Rong Baozhai published his official Copybook for calligraphy. People's Education Publishing House published his inscription on Jiuquan Palace as a copybook for middle school students. Cao Quanbei was selected in Seven Selected Works of Han Li (published by Hebei Fine Arts Publishing House). His works have participated in the first, second and third "National Book Fair" and various exhibitions, and have been published in newspapers and periodicals at home and abroad for many times.
