As shown in the picture:
Writing well starts with holding the pen. Incorrect pen holding posture will cause the horizontal writing to be unable to be flat and the vertical writing to be straight when writing. It takes more than a month to practice calligraphy. No progress was made. After holding the pen in the most standard posture, I adjusted the wrong posture and was able to write horizontally:

Note: The above-mentioned incorrect holding posture of the thumb pressing the index finger tightly is the most common and common type (I suffer from it.). This holding posture has many disadvantages:?
1. Make the middle finger more painful or develop thick calluses, or even joint deformation.
2. The hands are very tired and sore because they are always tight.
3. The range of writing activities becomes very small due to the restriction, which also makes the written fonts smaller. ?
4. I can’t write in larger fonts, and I can’t write quickly or easily.
5. The bent joint of the thumb blocks the writing line of sight of the pen tip, so you have to tilt your head to see the pen tip for writing. This also affects your sitting posture and spine curvature, and your vision recedes.
In general, there is no doubt about the importance of correct pen holding and force for practice. I can tell you directly that whether it is a hard pen or a soft pen, it is all controlled by your fingers.
