Learn to write double hook calligraphy

Double hook, a hollow character written by ancient people in order to learn to write calligraphy, put a tablet under rice paper and outline the outline of the character with a small pen. Because sketching is different from writing at ordinary times, it is called double hook calligraphy.

When I was in college, there was a classmate in my class who could write beautiful hollow words directly with a pen. I was envious. Because of my interest, I also tried to cover Copybook for calligraphy with Taoist paper and started painting. Over time, I also learned some fur. Sometimes in the self-study classroom, in the classroom where no one is there, I pick up the chalk on the podium and write my own double-hook font on the blackboard.

In fact, I wrote similar hollow characters when I published the blackboard newspaper in high school, but I just felt that I couldn't write such hollow characters directly with chalk. You can only use a rag to wet the words you want to write on the blackboard first, and quickly trace the border of the font before the handwriting is dry. This is the so-called hollow character. You can write like this on the blackboard, but it is impossible on paper. If you copy blindly like red, you will lose the fun of writing double-hook fonts.

After two years' practice in college, I can basically write regular script fonts without manuscripts, but I always feel that the written words are a bit dull, far less than the calligraphy of copybooks. You can only entertain yourself and don't show it to others easily.

When I was a master, I did a project in Xiamen University and spent a semester alone in a foreign land. I often go for a walk on the beach outside Xiamen University in my spare time. Walking on the soft beach, watching the boundless and choppy sea. This is the first time in my life that I am far away from the city where I live, leaving my parents to study and live in a foreign land. Usually, the experiment is busy, but once in the evening, I left the laboratory, walked on the beach, and looked at the pedestrians coming and going, and my homesickness became more and more serious. Once I couldn't help picking up a small bamboo pole floating from nowhere on the beach, and neatly wrote down Li Gou's homesickness in the Northern Song Dynasty with my familiar double-hook regular script:

After writing, I still want to finish, sitting on a distant beach watching the sunset in the distance, imagining what my parents will be busy with at this time. From time to time, men and women passing by stopped to read my writing, and some even read it several times from beginning to end. Xiamen University also has an art major. Maybe people think that those students who study art wrote the words.

I watched from a distance, quite proud.

The sea rose, and soon the words I wrote disappeared, and my homesickness was sent away with the sea. I don't know if my parents in my hometown can accept the heart of a foreign wanderer.

After work, I basically use the computer, and I write less, and it is useless to talk empty words. It is only by chance that I saw some people actually write those so-called calligraphy with syringes on TV and online platforms, which really defiled the artistic conception of calligraphy. Some people call these ugly books calligraphy, and these people call themselves masters and calligraphers. How thick their skins are. Opening one's mouth and keeping one's mouth shut is called innovation, and writing it out is innovation that others can't recognize? The handwriting is like a beginner's handwriting, and there is no skeleton. That's full of childlike interest. Is that innovation? Sad husband! Such an ugly book is so popular that they would rather not learn it!
