Data expansion:
First, the origin of cursive script
Cursive script is the simplest writing in China. The origin of cursive script, such as running script, or other characters, is uncertain when it began. According to historical records, "During the Warring States Period, Chu Huaiwang made Qu Yuan a constitutional order, but the draft was not published. Shangguanshi saw it and wanted to take it away. The ancestor of Gaicaoshu began in. " Therefore, cursive script originated from cursive script, indicating that cursive script was formed in the Warring States period.
Because the font started from cursive script, in order to play the role of sketching, it is omitted and scribbled, so it can't be written neatly, just as the name suggests. But this cursive script can only be said to be the draft of the ancient seal script (the font used at that time). The real cursive script began in the early Han Dynasty, and its evolution process should be "Cao Zhang", "Modern Grass" and "Crazy Grass".
Second, the generalized cursive script
Refers to the cursive writing style. Including two situations: first, in ancient times when the characters were not uniform, there would naturally be no unified and standardized cursive script, and the cursive script that appeared at that time belonged to the generalized cursive script.
Second, after the unification of words, in case of emergency, or when drafting documents and recording other people's conversations, the strokes are quick, the strokes of Lian Bi are omitted, and the scribbled words written by letters are not standardized. This scribble is difficult to communicate with, and even after a long time, it is difficult for the writer to recognize it. This scrawled word belongs to the generalized cursive script.
Third, cursive script in a narrow sense.
In a narrow sense, it refers to a font with continuous strokes and convenient writing. Generally speaking, the popular calligraphy in the early Han Dynasty was cursive script (that is, scribbled official script), which gradually developed into "Cao Zhang".
By the end of the Han Dynasty, it was said that Zhang Zhi's "Cao Zhang" contained traces that the strokes of official script were not connected with the characters, and became a "modern cursive script" with simple strokes, many symbolic parts and continuous and convenient strokes, which was later called cursive script. Wang Xizhi of the Eastern Jin Dynasty perfected it, and Tang Huaisu carried it forward as crazy grass, which was the highest realm of cursive writing.
Cursive script is a wonderful flower in calligraphy. The control in the process of rapid writing and the release of the writer's instinct show the essence of calligraphy.
