A Summary of Cao Zhang's Thousand Words
Although the original intention of this activity is to commemorate the bicentennial issue of Calligraphy magazine, it also caters to the requirements of discovering and cultivating new people in the current calligraphy circle to a great extent. Some metrics for this activity are not available in other activities. First of all, the work of the activity is very meticulous, and every contribution has been implemented. I sent postcards to thank each contributor and a collection of works. It took us more than a year to publish the top 100 works in magazines, and successively toured Jiangsu, Anhui, Zhejiang and other places to exhibit the works. At the same time, through the selection, we have a set of four copies of the top 100 series of "thousand-character text" copybooks. Therefore, the second feature of people's evaluation is that only one top 100 list attaches great importance to the details of the exhibition and has fulfilled every promise, including rejection. The success of one thing depends on countless details. Here, I would like to thank the leaders of Changshu Municipal Committee and the comrades of Changshu Painting and Calligraphy Institute for their strong support for this event. I especially want to thank Comrade Zhang Xigeng for his selfless help. Their contribution is the key to the success of our activities. Postcards, portfolios and copybooks are the trinity components of our activities, which also left a deep impression on this activity. Money is a classic article in the history of China. Many calligraphers have written about Qian Wen Zi. It can be said that writing money Wen Zi is also a test for calligraphers. In history, some calligraphers spent their whole lives creating a thousand-word book that can be passed down through the ages. Therefore, the spread of beautiful calligraphy through classic articles is a unique phenomenon in the cultural history of China. This time, the author was determined in strict accordance with the publishing requirements, and some comrades who wrote posts were also winners of calligraphy exhibitions over the years. They have solid basic skills and personal writing style, but also follow the law of writing and the law of writing. After several revisions and improvement, this set of copybooks has the significance for the majority of calligraphy lovers to learn, draw lessons from and refer to. I think copybook is a kind of publication, which has the characteristics of wider circulation and greater influence. Therefore, the characteristics of this copybook are: first, the writing standard. Second, we can see how young and middle-aged calligraphers use wisdom to understand innovation. So we have a common wish with everyone, that is, to try our best to present the best side of our writing to readers. This is a test and a challenge for them. Of course, in the end, they have to go through the readers. From this perspective, the reader is the real judge.
