Yin Xiangming has been engaged in purple sand sculpture and ceramic art creation for 33 years. He has been able to study the traditional techniques of purple sand for many years and get inspiration from modern sculpture. He created and designed a series of purple sand leather pots, a series of surreal bamboo pots and some modern pot art works, and organically combined the simulated leather elements with traditional purple sand works to the extreme, forming his own unique purple sand language, integrating historical crystallization with current innovation. Try to explore another expressive aesthetic function of purple sand pottery, establish a new purple sand vocabulary, and gradually become an independent artistic creation, adding more and more new possibilities to purple sand modeling.
As an artist, over the past 30 years, I have created a large number of outstanding works recognized by the society and experts through my own efforts, among which dozens of works such as nostalgic series-bottle, sun and moon drilling pot, root series, jade pot and melon pot have won provincial and ministerial awards respectively. Works such as Bamboo Pot, Leather Pot and Deposition were collected by the Ministry of Culture, the Museum of Chinese History and the National Art Gallery of Ukraine respectively and participated in the national art exhibition.
While creating art, Yin Xiangming is good at learning, summarizing and communicating. I have written many works, such as "Art Style Design of Zisha Pot" and "Intersection of Modern Ceramic Art and Traditional Zisha", which have been published in professional journals at or above the provincial and ministerial levels. In recent years, in combination with university education, I worked with Professor Nannong Dazong to compile the first university textbook "Appreciation and Creation of Zisha Ceramic Art", and at the same time wrote my first monograph "Talking about Artistic Potential", with more than 30,000 words.
No pains, no gains. Through more than 30 years' efforts, Yin Xiangming has formed his own unique creative style, which has been fully reflected in his three published personal works. In the Collection of Works of Five-colored Soil Yin Xiangming, a famous writer prefaces it, and a famous ceramist and art critic Shen Qibin writes a review article for it.

This is my evaluation and my hope.
Yin Xiangming has a solid foundation in traditional crafts. He used to be the youngest senior arts and crafts artist in the ceramic industry, which shows that senior experts in China fully affirmed him. Throughout his works, exquisite craftsmanship always reveals an atmosphere and elegance that cannot be concealed, and it is the crystallization of years and history.
Yin Xiangming's bold innovation based on tradition is actually the direction that China should strive to inherit traditional culture. His exploration is widely enlightening. On the way forward, he will encounter new barriers, new problems and new challenges. I believe that he will be able to cope with it calmly and forge ahead. He is so young that he has a bright future. A large number of traditional crafts in China can meet a large number of young people like Yin Xiangming, which is bound to glow with new brilliance.
