My favorite calligrapher

Many calligraphers in modern times have made great achievements in regular script. It's hard to say who they like best, but I can list some of my favorite calligraphers.

1 Zhao Puchu

Zhao Puchu, a native of Anqing, Anhui Province, has a deep study of Buddhism and is also an important figure in modern calligraphy. Zhao Puchu's calligraphy is especially good at running script. He combined calligraphy with Buddhism very well. The overall font is elegant and well structured. A careful look at his every word reveals an extraordinary bearing.

2 Qigong

Qi Gong, descendant of Manchu royal family, the ninth grandson of Yong Zhengdi, is a famous painter, educator and master of Chinese studies in modern China. He used to be curator of central research institute of culture and history, honorary chairman of China Calligraphers Association and founding chairman of the World Chinese Calligraphers Federation. Master Qi Gong's calligraphy belongs to the dignified atmosphere, which is also in line with his aristocratic descendants. Appreciating Master Qi Gong's calligraphy is like appreciating a precious work of art.. His every word is carefully crafted and he never puts pen to paper easily. His regular script calligraphy draws on all the advantages of many regular script writers in ancient and modern times, and is really used by him, forming his own unique calligraphy style.

3 Wu Yuru

Wu Yuru is a famous calligraphy master in modern times, who makes good use of official script, regular script, running script, cursive script and seal script. He studied calligraphy since he was a child. At the age of twelve, his basic knowledge of regular script has been quite profound. After decades of intensive research and tempering, his calligraphy has formed its own system. His regular script is beautiful, ethereal and elegant, and looks pleasing to the eye as a whole. This is my favorite regular script.

4 Shen

Born in Hanyin, Shaanxi Province, Shen was once a professor and president of Peking University. He is recognized as a calligrapher in modern calligraphy. Early years of the Republic of China? Shen Nanbei language? At that time, I was referring to another calligrapher, Yu Youren. Shen Yisheng studied calligraphy and created a large number of calligraphy works, which made great contributions to the development of calligraphy culture in China. His regular script has the charm of Ou Yangxun, and the shade between pen and ink is appropriate, giving people a relaxed and happy feeling.
