At that time, Mr. Zhan Xuechang was the pillar of the Shaanxi Opera Troupe. As the inheritor of the characters in the Dragon-brand Shaanxi Opera and Facebook story, he needed to draw it by hand, and they formed a friendship.
In the 1940s, Zhan Xuechang was born in a peasant family in Liu Hong Village, Dongwan Town, Jingyuan County. 1956, 14 years old, began his acting career as an apprentice in Jingyuan Qinqiang Opera Troupe.
1April, 963, Zhan Xuechang went to Pingluo County, Yinchuan City, and returned to Jingyuan by train via Lanzhou. During his stay in Lanzhou, he happened to meet the head of Linxia Qin Opera Troupe. It was this accidental opportunity that he came to Linxia.
In this way, Zhan Xuechang entered Linxia Qin Troupe and became the lead singer and director at the age of 25, that is, 18. 1980, Zhan Xuechang was transferred back to Jingyuan. In August of that year 1, he was invited to perform in Jingyuan county, Baiyin, and his performance of "Yuanmen Chop Zi" won full applause. In the place where he dreamed of starting-Jingyuan Drama Company was thirsty for talents and tried every means to get him; Linxia Shaanxi Opera Troupe, on the other hand, tries its best to keep people. When Zhan Xuechang worked in Linxia, he was in his early twenties, which was the peak of his acting career, and he devoted his beautiful youth to the art of Shaanxi Opera. His Shaanxi opera "Su Wu Shepherd", "Golden Beach", "Xiahedong" and "Nanyang Pass" are well-known.

Most of the horse gourd carvings are based on drama, fairy tales, folklore and scenery. Representative works include Changbanpo, Yellow River Array, Daiyu Burying Flowers on a Journey to the West, The Story of Dixin's Worship to the Moon, The Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea, Peony and Peony, etc. 1983 Ma hand-carved gourd crafts participated in the Canton Fair for the first time. Among them, the carved gourd of the horse, "Eight Generals in a Hundred Battles", was once collected by a businessman and then taken to foreign markets for high-priced auction.

Even a grain of rice is engraved with many words, and there are many troops. Looking under a magnifying glass, the image of each character is lifelike.
